- A local ISP of 'reasonable' size has been using Sportsters with success for the
- past year or so. They've lost a handful out of a couple hundred of them
- (usually from going 'brain dead'), and have had virtually no complaints with
- compatability that weren't resolved with handholding subscribers through
- configuring their own modems and clients.

- I was a bit concerned when I first heard it, but in retrospect I can say that
- the modems themselves have turned out to be significantly more reliable than
- the TelCo service ... matter of fact, there's been more downtime resulting from
- problems with SprintNet and MCI than the modems.
